Speak No Evil

I have frost nip :( Meh. I was so excited to play today that I couldn’t sleep at all. No snow on the ground, but that means we actually get to run. Unlike last year where we were knee deep.

I played the second half of every game. I think I scored once in each game, but for some reason I can’t remember one of them… Our first game didn’t count for anything, but we tied. We played three games that counted, and we won the first two, and tied the last. Which is an accomplishment, because the last team we played was Buffalo Women, who are mostly our alumnae. There two tries were scored in the first half by a former USA Eagle.

It was a blast. My captain asked how I could be so enthusiastic about each game, because it was so cold. But I just LOVE rugby. Especially 7s. And the girls I play with are great. Even the newer girls have a lot of talent. I can’t wait for the rest of our season! Hell Yeah Flying Squirrels.
